Sorry!

Sorry about *never* posting!  I haven't been writing much.  Instead I've been playing with my horsies and doing school work.  I had last week off but we started back up today *sticks tongue out*.  I'll post some later if I *ever* get anytime to write again!

Prayer... And RIP Cooper

Cooper was put down...  He had a brain issue.  He bit my dad TWICE!  He was only 2 years old.  God I miss him.  I'm crying as I write this.  We might get a pug-a-poo though...  But it will NEVER replace Cooper.  So I probably won't be on much.  My great grandma is REALLY sick and the chemo will/might kill her.  My great grandpa is losing it mentally.  And Cooper was put down yesterday.  I keep expecting him to come and say hello, howl, or get out.  It was so bad that the vet that my grandparents used for their dogs since my mom was little wouldn't let my dad leave the clinic w/out putting him down.  This is NOT what Cooper was normally like.  He had a degenerative condition that caused him to get aggressive and would have made him die a very horrible and painful death in a couple of years.  I can't write anymore.  It hurts to much...

PS:  I need a LOT of prayer.  I feel like I'm hitting rock bottom again

Excerpt...

Well here is a *very* small bit of my book :).  I'll probably redo this blog soon so watch out for some awesomeness!  My friend Abby may join me on it too :).  Well here is the excerpt~

Bang, Bang, Bang! "Open up!", a gruff voice yells from just outside the door.
An elf mother and father rush their two children, a 15 year old boy and a 14 year old girl, into a small hidden chamber.
They were coming for them. Ever since he had taken the throne , things had changed. All of them for the worst. Hoping things would get better they held off fleeing the country.
Now they would have to pay the price for not fleeing with everyone else.
Giving both of the children a hug and a kiss, which they tolerated knowing what was coming. The boy had to say something. He had to fight alongside his parents. But he knew argument was futile. After the teens had climbed into the cave at the beginning of the tunnels the parents handed them both a sword, a throwing knife, a bow, and a quiver full of arrows. Everything else was already in the tunnels. Hearing shouts they shut the door quietly and swiftly and whisper a prayer of safety. Grabbing swords they both vow to not go down without a fight. Hearing the door splinter against an onslaught of soldiers they rush to the door, ready to die fighting.

An hour or two goes by. The elves had gotten their wish. Though death was full in their face they fought courageously , killed many, and wounded many more. But now their children are all alone. Alive but alone without anyone to care for them. Right now all they are thinking about is how to follow the map and get through the tunnels alive.

Taking a compass out and turning the map every which way Vaniion finally gets the map in the right direction to understand it. Setting the map down he hoists a pack onto his back as his sister, Avery (also called Ave), does the same. They then strap on their swords and throwing knives. Finally they put their quiver chock full of arrows over their shoulders and attach the bow to it.

I know it's REALLY bad but I'm just learning how to write in narrative form so be nice ;).

A Good Poem...

When you run so fast to get somewhere
you miss half the fun of getting there
if you worry and hurry through your day
it's like an unopened gift
thrown away
Life is not a race
Do take is slower
hear the music
before the song is over."
